The Kindle School in the Heights, Inc. is a developmentally based preparatory Early Childhood program. We believe that providing engaging, interactive, planned lessons, and learning through play and self-guided exploration are not mutually exclusive concepts. Teacher demonstrations and explanations provide high-quality play and increased learning experiences inspired through guidance. The Kindle School in the Heights, Inc.’s curricular focus is on cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development & acquisition; incorporating whole, small group, and individual activities to actively engage all learners.
Our school program is led by and inspired through collaboration between our Head of Schools, Administrative Director, and Assistant Director. Their vision is dutifully carried out by our amazing team of teachers. Our roles and visions continually evolve as we interact with and observe our students, and reexamine our understanding of educational and psychological theory. Through this self-reflective approach, we integrate contemporary pedagogy with our personal understanding of every child.
